As the Adeleke family and Accord Party are rejoicing over the declaration by INEC that incumbent Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has won the gubernatorial election, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke has responded to Nigerian music star Davido following criticism over his alleged involvement in attempts to influence the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the Osun State governorship election.
Faleke said he travelled to Osun State to support his party’s candidate, while accusing Davido of supporting his uncle’s party, Accord.
He stressed that INEC is an independent body that cannot be influenced by him or anyone else.
“I have never influenced or rigged before, and I don’t plan to start now. Face your music while we face our politics,” Faleke said.
Davido gave immense support to his uncle during the build-up to the election.
