How To Apply For FG’s Free AI, Fashion, Makeup Training

Nigerians seeking to acquire skills in areas such as artificial intelligence, fashion design and makeup can now apply for free training under the federal government’s National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy programme.

Registration for the next cohort of the programme in Oyo State opened on Thursday, according to an announcement by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Media Centre on X.

The National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy is a federal government initiative under the Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, implemented through the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Education.

The programme is designed to equip young Nigerians with technical and vocational skills that can enhance their employment prospects, entrepreneurship opportunities and income-generating capacity.

Announcing the commencement of registration, the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Media Centre said beneficiaries would have the opportunity to learn or improve their skills in areas including artificial intelligence, fashion design and makeup.

“Registration has officially commenced for the next cohort of the National Poverty Reduction With Growth Strategy where beneficiaries will learn and upgrade several technical skills such as Artificial Intelligence, Fashion Design and Make-Up,” it stated.

Prospective applicants are required to complete an online application form and provide answers to questions contained in the form.

The programme organisers urged applicants to provide truthful responses, noting that the information submitted would be considered during the selection process.

Available skill options include Graphics/AI, Makeup and Fashion Design, allowing applicants to choose an area that aligns with their interests and career aspirations.

The training forms part of the federal government’s efforts to expand access to technical and vocational education and provide young Nigerians with practical skills that can support employment, self-employment and entrepreneurship.

Applicants are advised to ensure that all information supplied is accurate, as their responses will form part of the process for selecting beneficiaries.
