Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate Erica Nlewedim has revealed that she has no plans to return to the reality show, despite admitting that her time on the platform had a major positive impact on her finances.
The actress and media personality reflected on the experience, noting that while BBNaija brought her financial opportunities, the constant insults and backlash she received online took a toll on her emotional well-being.
According to Erica, the prolonged criticism eventually became overwhelming and prompted her to seek professional help as she struggled to cope with the pressure.
She also recalled feeling anxious whenever she opened Instagram because of the possibility of finding another wave of negative comments or criticism directed at her.
Erica’s comments highlight the challenges that can come with life in the public eye, particularly for reality TV stars who often face intense scrutiny and opinions from social media users.

“I’ll never go to a show like Big Brother Naija again in my life. I’m happy I did it because of course, it changed my life money wise but I’m never doing it again if I’m given the opportunity. I was getting like 3 years of back to back insults. I had to see a therapist because of that show.
“My heart will just be beating if I open Instagram and I’ll see notifications, I’ll start getting worried that they might be dragging me for something again.”
