“I No Know Anything”- Daddy Freeze Speaks Amid KC Luxury Controversy

  • Daddy Freeze is involved in a social media controversy related to the arrest of influencer KC Luxury.
  • KC Luxury, whose real name is Afolabi Kazeem Michael, was arrested by the NDLEA.
  • The arrest occurred on August 13, 2026, at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

Media personality Daddy Freeze has become part of an unfolding social media controversy following the arrest of influencer and alleged luxury goods dealer Afolabi Kazeem Michael, popularly known as KC Luxury.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) reportedly arrested KC Luxury on August 13, 2026, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos while he was preparing to travel to Paris.

The development followed the seizure of 184.5kg of suspected hard drugs at a courier facility in Lagos earlier in August. The consignment, reportedly worth between $27 million and $28 million, was allegedly destined for the United Kingdom and other international locations.

Following news of the arrest, Daddy Freeze publicly stated that he was not familiar with KC Luxury and said he had only learned about him after conducting some research online.

He urged members of the public to be more cautious when associating with public figures, noting that appearances can sometimes be misleading and that some individuals may have questionable character.

Daddy Freeze said:

“I don’t know who KC Luxury is. So I had to start doing some digging.”

However, his comments soon attracted attention after social media personality CMC challenged his claim.

In a video shared on August 17, CMC alleged that he knew between five and ten people who had received expensive watches and cars from KC Luxury. He further warned that people who were claiming they did not know the influencer could eventually be exposed.

CMC also hinted that he could reveal the identities of some individuals in a forthcoming video, saying he was prepared to “drop names.”

Reacting to CMC’s remarks, Daddy Freeze appeared to take a humorous approach while distancing himself from the controversy. He described CMC as “problematic” and referenced an alleged situation where KC Luxury was seen counting items he had given out, suggesting that the influencer’s actions could have created problems for some of the recipients.

In another video posted on his Instagram page on August 18, Daddy Freeze joked about the situation, saying he had reached a point where he supposedly did not know anyone in Nigeria except his mother.

“I no know anything, I no know am o. I no know, even CMC I no know CMC o,” he said.

Daddy Freeze also expressed concern about the possible consequences of CMC’s planned revelations, joking that the disclosures could potentially get people into trouble not only in Lagos but also in the United States and other parts of the world.

The controversy continues to generate reactions online as attention remains focused on the allegations surrounding KC Luxury and the individuals who may have had dealings with him.
