Nathaniel Bassey Receives Car Gift From Pastor Jerry Eze, Says He Is ‘Speechless’
Nigerian gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey has expressed his surprise and gratitude after receiving a car as a gift from fellow gospel minister Pastor Jerry Eze.
Bassey shared a video on social media showing the moment he received the vehicle, repeatedly asking who had sent him the surprise.
In an accompanying message, the gospel minister said he was left “speechless” by the gesture and thanked Eze for the unexpected gift.
“This is how God, through @realjerryeze, made me feel yesterday — SPEECHLESS. Pastor Jerry, THANK YOU, SIR. Still stunned,” he wrote.
Bassey said he normally keeps personal gestures of this nature private but decided to share the moment with his followers.
He revealed that Eze had secretly worked with his wife to arrange the surprise without his knowledge.
According to Bassey, his wife had suggested a particular vehicle, but Eze insisted on getting a better one.
“He insisted on going for the very best when my wife suggested one to get. In his words, ‘My brother can’t drive that,’” Bassey recalled.
The singer also said Eze was planning similar gestures for other people, describing him as someone who “gives like his life depends on it.”
Bassey ended his message by publicly thanking Eze, saying he would have loved and appreciated him regardless of the gift.
