“She is infertile and can’t make babies” – Family drama escalates as Rhennie responds to aunt’s attack over podcast revelations

  • Rhennie has responded to her aunt after the woman allegedly called her a “bastard” in the comments section of her podcast episode, where she opened up about her family struggles.
  • Her response, which referenced her aunt’s infertility, has drawn criticism online, with many Nigerians accusing Rhennie of taking the family dispute too far.

Rhennie has clashed with her family online after revealing details of her strained relationship with her mother and sisters on The Link Up Podcast.

The controversy escalated after her aunt, whom Rhennie said she had previously confided in about the family issues, allegedly commented under the podcast, calling her a “bastard.” Rhennie responded by attacking her aunt’s inability to have children.

She said: “My aunt, to whom I explained what my sisters and mom did to me before I cut them off, is commenting under the podcast saying ‘don’t mind her, she is a bastard,’ but I don’t care about her or what she says because she is infertile and can’t make babies.”

Rhennie had earlier spoken about alleged mistreatment by her mother and sisters, which she said contributed to her decision to cut them off.

Her elder sister, however, countered the claims, describing Rhennie as a privileged child who lived in Magodo and attended top schools.

The family dispute has since generated reactions online, with several Nigerians criticising Rhennie for publicly revealing sensitive family matters, particularly her aunt’s infertility.

@Amon_Raee: Which kind nonsense trauma, every Nigerian child basically lived in trauma ma you carry am for head, you are just a useless child

@zer0bodCount: lol stage she will outgrow and still come back online to say it’s all her emotions

@maxfxeld: This girl is an example of foolishness and God I blame it on the Olodo uprising cause she should be in a psychiatric institution not posting nonsense

@MiDe_69: It’s very obvious she’s mentally unstable We rarely focus on mental issue in Nigeria in as much the person still wears cloth and speaks English

@Rebeccagbemudia: No matter what, we all must learn to forgive. I mean we must train ourselves to quick to forgive cause there’s nothing rewarding holding grudges over nothing.
