“Davido told me not to try it again” – Carter Efe reveals what singer warned him about Wizkid
Nigerian streamer and content creator Carter Efe has revealed that singer Davido privately warned him against insulting Wizkid, after people began assuming the singer was behind his remarks.
Carter Efe made the disclosure during a recent livestream while recounting his interaction with Davido and the singer’s reaction to his repeated comments about Wizkid.
According to him, Davido reached out directly and made it clear that he had nothing to do with his remarks, despite speculation that he was encouraging him.
“Davido messaged me and told me that I shouldn’t try it in my life again to insult Wizkid again, because people have started thinking he is the one sending me, meanwhile he doesn’t know anything about it. Which person go fit get good heart like that?” he said.
Carter Efe’s revelation comes amid the long-running rivalry between Davido and Wizkid, two of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, which has frequently generated conversations among their fans.
