Heavily Pregnant Woman Who Visited Market To Buy Food Items Goes Into Labour, Gives Birth To Twins At The Market
What started as a simple shopping errand has turned into an unforgettable moment for a heavily pregnant woman after she went into labour and delivered twins right inside Lot 5 International Market in Abakaliki, Nigeria.
According to accounts from the scene, the woman had visited the market intending only to purchase food items, with no indication that she was about to welcome her babies that same day.
Labour, however, had other plans, catching her and everyone around her by surprise as she gave birth right there among the market stalls.
Video footage capturing the aftermath shows the new mother being carefully placed into a tricycle, commonly known locally as a “Pragya,” to be rushed to the hospital for further care following the delivery.
