He referenced former President Goodluck Jonathan, who lost the 2015 presidential election while serving as Nigeria’s sitting president, to argue that political influence alone cannot determine the outcome of an election.
According to Kwankwaso, if Jonathan could lose despite being president at the time, the backing of 30 governors would not automatically save Tinubu at the polls.
