“If Tinubu Is Doing Well, Why Are You Still In UK?”- Isaac Fayose Slams UK-Based Supporters

  • Isaac Fayose, a Nigerian political commentator, has raised questions about Nigerians in the UK supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
  • He challenges these supporters to justify their stance while living abroad.
  • Fayose points out the contradiction of seeking permanent residency and opportunities outside Nigeria while endorsing the Tinubu administration.

Nigerian political commentator Isaac Fayose has sparked reactions online after questioning Nigerians living in the United Kingdom who continue to express support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Fayose, in a recent statement, challenged Nigerians who claim that the Tinubu administration is performing well to explain why they remain abroad while seeking permanent residency and other opportunities for themselves and their families.

He particularly questioned those who allegedly left their families in the UK while returning to Nigeria to campaign for Tinubu during the election period.

“Some Føøls Here In London, When You Ask Them Who They’ll Vote For, They Say Tinubu. So If Tinubu Is Doing So Well, What Are You Doing Here In The UK, Looking For Papers For Yourself And Your Family? Some Of Them Even Left Their Families Here While Campaigning For Tinubu In Nigeria. Why Don’t You Take Your Family Back Home To Enjoy Tinubu’s Government? Even Tinubu, The Person You’re Campaigning For, Can’t Stay In Nigeria Without Travelling Abroad For Medical Treatment,” Fayose said.

His remarks have since generated discussions on social media, with Nigerians weighing in on the contrast between supporting a government while simultaneously seeking better living conditions and opportunities outside the country.
