Ivanka Trump’s Hot Summer Vacation Post Ripped Even By MAGA Over Luxury Living Amid Soaring Prices In The US

Ivanka Trump has found herself at the center of another social media controversy after sharing glimpses of her family’s luxurious summer vacation.

The president’s eldest daughter posted a collection of holiday memories, including footage of her teenage daughter riding a horse.

Rather than simply attracting admiration, Ivanka Trump’s posts prompted criticism from people who considered the display insensitive at a time when many Americans are dealing with high financial pressure

Ivanka offered her social media followers a look at her family’s summer by sharing several vacation moments on Instagram.

Among them was a video showing her 15-year-old daughter, Arabella, riding a horse across a beach as the sun went down, accompanied by Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida.”

“Camera roll summer 2026,” Ivanka captioned the post, which also included several other images from her travels. However, the luxurious scenes quickly attracted negative reactions from critics. They felt the timing made the display appear out of touch with the financial difficulties facing many American households.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s press office joined the reaction with a brief “OK.” The account shared the response alongside a screenshot of a headline about fuel prices reaching a Labor Day record amid the Iran war and refinery problems.

The controversy also brought renewed attention to Ivanka’s habit of sharing glimpses of her luxury lifestyle online.

Some of the criticism expanded beyond Ivanka’s vacation footage and focused on the contrast between the Trump family’s public displays of wealth and the financial concerns affecting ordinary Americans.

According to AAA figures cited by The Daily Beast, the national average gas price climbed to $4.15 per gallon, exceeding the previous Labor Day record of $3.83 set in 2012.

Republican podcaster Melissa Witte also drew attention to another member of the family. Kai Trump, who had shared a YouTube tour of her expensive college apartment on the same day Ivanka posted her summer memories. This gave critics another example to point to and riled up public backlash even more.

“Americans: We can’t afford gas, food or tuition,” Witte wrote on X.

MAGA journalist Eric Spracklen made a similar comparison. “Americans: $4 a gallon gas is killing me,” he wrote. Ivanka had to switch off replies on her post as the criticism circulated online and became too much to curtail.

Ivanka Trump Also Faced Criticism Over Dolly Parton Tribute

The vacation controversy came only weeks after another Ivanka social media post generated an unfavorable response.

Following Dolly Parton’s death, Ivanka paid tribute to the music icon despite acknowledging that the two women had never personally met.

In her message, Ivanka celebrated Parton’s accomplishments across several areas of her career, describing her as a “peerless singer, incredible songwriter, gifted comic actress, tireless philanthropist, accomplished businesswoman and true original.”

However, it was a Parton quote included in the tribute that became the main source of criticism. Ivanka shared the late singer’s words, “I don’t criticize and condemn; I love and accept.”

Commenters argued that the sentiment did not tally with her father Donald Trump’s own public behavior.

They pointed to his record of attacking political rivals and female journalists, turning what was intended as a tribute into another source of criticism for Ivanka.

Away from social media, Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, are facing resistance over plans for an ambitious luxury development in Albania.

The couple is pursuing a resort on Sazan, an uninhabited Adriatic island that previously served as a “Cold War military base.”

“I’m working on an incredible project with my husband in the Mediterranean,” Ivanka said while discussing the venture on the “Founders” podcast. “It’s massive in scale.”

Plans for the island would include hotel accommodation, private villas and other amazing facilities.

Ivanka has said the goal is to “help realize its potential and transform it” while ensuring that the construction respects the surrounding landscape.

The proposals have nevertheless drawn environmental concerns and public opposition. The people of Albania are simply not buying the idea, and they declared that “Albania is not for sale.”

Unfortunately for Ivanka and her husband, the dispute has now extended beyond protests. The Albanian special prosecutor’s office announced an investigation into the construction of the resort.
