Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has reacted to allegations linking him to the permanent suspension of fellow skit maker and streamer Carter Efe’s TikTok account.
Carter Efe reportedly lost his TikTok account on September 9, 2026, after the platform cited multiple violations of its community guidelines. The account had reportedly built a following of more than 5.6 million users.
Following the suspension, an old video of Peller resurfaced on social media. In the clip, which was recorded during one of his previous public clashes with Carter Efe, Peller was seen on his knees asking his followers to mass-report Carter Efe’s TikTok account.
The resurfaced footage quickly reignited speculation among social media users, with some accusing Peller of having a role in the account’s suspension.
Peller has now addressed the allegations in a video shared online on September 10. Rather than directly deny the resurfaced footage, he drew attention to Carter Efe’s activities during livestreams, claiming that some of the creator’s actions could have attracted disciplinary measures from TikTok.
“I just saw a video where I’m being accused of banning somebody’s account on TikTok. This person opens boxer on livestream and even do soapy on livestream. I’m not debunking it. He’s a small boy. Let him face his challenges,” Peller said.
His response has since generated more reactions online, particularly because he did not explicitly deny asking his followers to report Carter Efe’s account in the old video.
The two content creators have had several public disagreements over time, with their clashes often playing out during livestreams and on social media. Peller has also previously made comments surrounding Carter Efe’s relationship with his wife, further fueling their online rivalry.
Meanwhile, Carter Efe appeared to have moved on from the controversy, as he shared a music video on Instagram shortly after his TikTok account was suspended without directly addressing the ban.
The development has nevertheless sparked widespread discussion among fans, with many expressing concern over the loss of Carter Efe’s large TikTok following and questioning the impact of mass reporting on social media platforms.
