- Former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has unveiled what he described as an “Education Revolution” as part of his 2027 political campaign, promising free, quality and accessible education for every Nigerian child.
- He said his plan would focus on transforming Nigeria from the classroom up, with no child left behind.
Former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has unveiled an education plan he described as an “Education Revolution” ahead of the 2027 elections.
Sowore shared a video highlighting his proposal for free, quality and accessible education for every Nigerian child.
According to him, the plan would ensure that no child is left behind and no talent is wasted, while transforming the country from the classroom level.
“This is just a snippet of the #Sowore2027 EDUCATION REVOLUTION! FREE, QUALITY EDUCATION AND ACCESSIBLE for every Nigerian child. No child left behind. No talent wasted. We will build a new Nigeria from the classroom up. And you haven’t seen anything yet!” Sowore wrote.
Reacting to the proposal, social commentator Daniel Regha challenged Sowore to provide evidence of what he has already achieved before making promises on a national scale.
“Let the public see what you have done first, even if it’s in one local govt area, before you start making promises on a nationwide scale. Let’s be serious here,” Regha said.
His comment sparked mixed reactions online, with some users defending Sowore’s previous efforts and others questioning the feasibility of his proposed education plan.
