A family in Bayelsa State has appealed to the public for help after their daughter, who is under two years old, allegedly went missing from the premises of a Catholic church.

According to the family, the incident occurred on June 21, 2026, after they took their daughter to the church and handed her over to the children’s department.

They reportedly returned later to pick up the child, only to be informed that she could no longer be found.

The family said they have since taken several steps in an effort to locate their daughter. They disclosed that they reported the matter to the police and also submitted multiple petitions to authorities in Abuja.

However, according to them, their efforts have not yet produced the desired result.

Appealing for assistance, a family member said:

“Nigerians, please come to our rescue. I have gone to the police, but there was no help. I have written several petitions to Abuja, but there is still no hope. VeryDarkMan please come to our rescue.”

The family is now seeking further assistance from Nigerians and relevant authorities to help trace the whereabouts of their daughter and reunite her with her loved ones.
