“Politics Of L!ck3rs” – Rufai Oseni Reacts As Desmond Elliot Kneels To Apologise To Femi Gbajabiamila

• Media personality Rufai Oseni has reacted to a viral video showing actor and former Lagos State lawmaker Desmond Elliot kneeling and apologising to Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu.
• Rufai criticised what he described as the “politics of lickers” in Nigeria, while questioning the circumstances surrounding Elliot’s apology and his political position.

Media personality Rufai Oseni has reacted to a viral video showing former Lagos State House of Assembly member Desmond Elliot kneeling before Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu.

In the video, Elliot apologised to Gbajabiamila over his political actions, saying, “I’m deeply sorry, sir.”

Reacting to the development, Rufai described the incident as an example of what he called the “politics of lickers” in Nigeria.

“You can now see the type of politics they play in Nigeria — politics of lickers. This is an aberration, and this is why Nigeria will never move forward.”

Rufai further questioned why Elliot was made to kneel, claiming that he had lost certain political advantages before being given a different opportunity.

“Desmond Elliott was caused to kneel down after they had collected Saturday and Sunday from him and given him Tuesday, where there is no position again. Was he not the one f!ghting and confrønting them?”

The video has since attracted reactions from social media users.
