Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator Oyemykke has reacted to reports that Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has allegedly returned to the residence of her estranged husband, billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.

In a video shared on Instagram on Saturday, September 5, 2026, Oyemykke said he was not shocked by the reports, adding that the development amused him while also making him happy.

“News getting to me is that Regina Daniels has gone back to Pa Ned Nwoko’s house. I find this extremely funny, and I’m very happy at the same time,” he said.

Oyemykke went on to discuss the challenges that can come with walking away from a particular standard of living after becoming accustomed to wealth and influence.

He noted that Regina had been introduced to influential circles through her marriage to Nwoko, arguing that returning to a different lifestyle could be difficult after experiencing such privileges.

“She has married one of the most successful, respectable men in this country. The test board has gone up. The levels have gone up,” he stated.

The comedian also pointed to the high cost of living in Lagos, suggesting that maintaining the lifestyle Regina had become accustomed to would require substantial financial resources.

Beyond the financial aspect, Oyemykke said he was pleased by the reported reunion between Regina and her children, whom he claimed she had been separated from for almost a year.

“I’m happy she’s with her children. I’m happy she’s back in the house. The Lord is good,” he said.

He subsequently urged members of the public to stay away from other people’s marital affairs, stressing that outsiders may not fully understand what happens within a relationship.

Oyemykke also referred to Regina’s close friend, whom some fans identified as actress Mercy Johnson, after the friend’s alleged reaction to the reported reconciliation generated discussion on social media.

Although he did not provide extensive details, the comedian appeared to mock those who had expected the situation to end differently, including people who had “rushed to buy television,” saying they would now have to accept the latest turn of events.
