Isaac Fayose has stirred reactions online after a video in which he took a swipe at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration surfaced on social media.
In the viral clip, Fayose appeared to use sarcasm to comment on the state of the country, particularly the economic difficulties faced by many Nigerians.
He claimed that Tinubu had achieved what he described as a unique form of national unity, suggesting that the widespread hardship and economic struggles experienced by citizens had brought Nigerians together.
“Tinubu is the only president in Nigeria that unites the country, is the best president ever to unite our country.
“God bless Tinubu as we are united in poverty, we are united in sadness, he’s the only president in Ninja that been able to unite us are able together because he used poverty to connect all of us together.”
Fayose also made reference to the ruling party’s symbol while drawing a comparison between Nigerians and the economic situation in the country.
“So we are chained in poverty, that’s why their sign is chained to poverty, he’s the only president.”
The social commentator, who is the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, further urged Nigerians to channel their frustrations over the economy into political action.

“And you know what we can use his strength, which is poverty, against him, he’s still very vulnerable. So come out and free yourself, liberation time, it is blessing time, free yourself.”
