Wikki Tourists technical adviser, Evans Ogenyi, has set his sight on an immediate return to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
The Bauchi Elephants were relegated to the Nigeria National League, NNL, at the end of the 2025-26 NPFL season.
Wikki Tourists suffered a 3-1 defeat to Kun Khalifat FC on the final day of the campaign in Owerri on Sunday.
Ogenyi apologised to the club’s supporters for the team’s dismal outing during the campaign
“Big clubs go on relegation and with good character and determination, they bounce back immediately, so it shall be with Wikki Tourists,” Ogenyi told the club’s media.
Wikki Tourists finished at the bottom of the NPFL table with 40 points.
Bayelsa United, El-Kanemi Warriors, and last season’s champions Remo Stars were also relegated.
