Bam Bam speaks on missing phone incident at service of songs

Reality TV star and actress Bam Bam Olawunmi-Adenibuyan has addressed the phone theft incident that occurred during Alexx Ekubo’s service of songs held in Lagos.
Reacting to a viral video showing a woman allegedly removing a phone from her bag, BamBam clarified that the individual in the footage was her personal assistant and not the person responsible for the disappearance of her device.
According to the actress, she only realised her phone was missing after getting into her car following the event. She explained that several people had approached her for greetings and photographs during the gathering, making it difficult to determine exactly when the device went missing.
BamBam said her immediate concern was the personal data stored on the phone, including contacts, photos, and videos that had not been backed up. However, beyond the loss of the device, she expressed sadness that anyone would choose a solemn event dedicated to mourning and remembrance as an opportunity to steal.
She further revealed that her phone was not the only one reported missing, noting that other attendees, including friends and a relative of the late actor, also allegedly lost their phones during the event.
His words …
“I got into my car and noticed my phone wasn’t with me. The video circulating around of a lady removing a phone from my bag. That was my personal assistant. Probably while we were hugging and exchanging pleasantries or at any point cause some people came and wanted to take selfie, it was really odd that people wanted to take selfies during the event.
First thing that hit me was compassion. I was really sad that my contacts, my videos..a lot of my photos and videos weren’t backed up on the cloud.
The next thing I felt was compassion. What would make any human being consider a service of songs a place to rob? And it wasn’t just my phone that was stolen. My friends, and I think even one of Alex’s brother’s phone too and then another guy. It was sad…..”
