The Ibori Suenu Grassroots Network (ISGN) has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his 63rd birthday, describing him as an exceptional leader whose administration has recorded remarkable achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and human capital development.
In a birthday tribute jointly signed by the National Chairman of ISGN, Chief Hon. Majemite Andrew; Vice Chairman, Barr. Jude Fregene; Director of Strategy and Administration, Prince Charles Abutoh; and Director of Media, Chief Henry Ofa (PhD), the group praised Governor Oborevwori’s visionary leadership and prudent management of the state’s resources.
According to the group, the governor’s administration has delivered visible transformation across Delta State within the past three years, citing major infrastructure projects, including the ongoing flyovers in Warri, Effurun, the Ughelli axis, and the Uromi Junction corridor, as evidence of his commitment to sustainable development.
ISGN noted that beyond road infrastructure, the Oborevwori administration has made significant investments in education through the upgrading of primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions, creating improved learning environments, expanding access to quality education, increasing admission capacities, and strengthening state-owned higher institutions in Abraka, Ozoro, Asaba, and Agbor.
The network also commended the governor’s efforts in the health sector, stating that improved healthcare facilities, expanded health insurance coverage, enhanced maternal and child healthcare services, and strengthened contributory health schemes have reduced the financial burden of medical care on residents.
It further applauded the administration’s interventions in agriculture, rural road construction, human capital development, peace and security, governance, and social welfare, noting that these initiatives have enhanced economic activities, improved access for farmers, and contributed to the overall well-being of Deltans.
The group described Governor Oborevwori as a humble, disciplined, and peace-loving leader whose cordial relationship with past leaders of the state has promoted unity and political stability in Delta State.
“As Your Excellency celebrates your 63rd birthday, we pray that Almighty God grants you continued good health, wisdom, strength, and divine guidance as you continue to provide purposeful leadership for the people of Delta State,” the statement read.
ISGN also reaffirmed its commitment to mobilising grassroots support for Governor Oborevwori and his administration ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence that his developmental strides would continue to earn the confidence of the people.
