ADC Mourns Rotimi Amaechi’s Mother, Offers Condolences To Family

Samuel Ogidan

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Mrs. Mary Amaechi, mother of the party’s Vice Presidential Candidate, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi.

In a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC extended its heartfelt condolences to Amaechi and the entire Amaechi family, describing the late Mrs. Amaechi as a matriarch whose love, guidance and sacrifices helped shape generations.

The party noted that a mother’s legacy is reflected not only in her family but also in the values she instils and the positive impact she leaves on those around her.

While acknowledging the profound pain of losing a loved one, the ADC urged the bereaved family to draw strength from the life Mrs. Amaechi lived, the memories she created, and the prayers and support of Nigerians mourning with them.

On behalf of the party’s National Chairman, Senator David Mark, the National Working Committee and members of the ADC nationwide, the party prayed for the peaceful repose of Mrs. Amaechi’s soul and for God to grant her family the fortitude, comfort and peace to bear the loss.
