Oyo South APM Senatorial Candidate, Olajide Support Gbagi Muslim Community With N5m Solar Lights

IBADAN – The Oyo south senatorial candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) and member representing Ibadan Northwest/ Ibadan South-west federal constituency of Oyo state in the House of Representatives, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide Odidiomo, on Friday, strengthened his personal engagement with the muslim community by donating 5 million naira towards the installation of a solar power system at the Gbagi central mosque, Lebanon street, Ogunpa, Ibadan.

The donation was announced shortly after the lawmaker observed the weekly Friday Jumat prayer with muslim faithful at the mosque, where he reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote religious activities in the state.

According to a statement made available to journalists by Tolu Mustapha, Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs to the federal lawmaker, the intervention is aimed at providing a reliable alternative power supply to enhance activities within the mosque and improve the comfort of worshippers.

Addressing the congregation, Olajide said his philosophy of leadership has always been about serving humanity through practical interventions that improve the welfare of communities, irrespective of religious or ethnic considerations.

He described places of worship as vital institutions for promoting moral values, unity and discipline, stressing that supporting faith based organizations remains an investment in the social and moral development of society.
