Umahi’s 63rd Birthday Celebrates Nigeria’s Infrastructure Advancement — Engr. Frank Ngwu

The Project Manager of Brass Engineering and Construction Ltd., Engr. Frank Ngwu, has described the 63rd birthday of the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, as a celebration of outstanding leadership, national development, and remarkable progress in Nigeria’s infrastructure sector.

In a message marking the minister’s birthday, Ngwu said Umahi’s life and career exemplify visionary leadership, excellence in public service, and unwavering commitment to nation-building.

According to him, the former Ebonyi State governor has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities through his various public offices, leaving a lasting legacy of transformational governance and infrastructural development.

Ngwu noted that beyond his achievements in government, Umahi has distinguished himself as a mentor who deliberately identifies, nurtures, and empowers young professionals and leaders across the country.

“I remain one of the countless beneficiaries of your uncommon grace. Without any biological relationship or community affiliation, you believed in me, entrusted me with responsibilities, exposed me to opportunities many only dream of, and patiently guided my professional development in engineering and project management,” he said.

He added that the minister instilled in him enduring values of discipline, integrity, diligence, accountability, innovation, and excellence, describing those virtues as the foundation of his professional and personal growth.

Reflecting on Umahi’s public service journey, Ngwu highlighted his progression from Chairman of the ruling political party in Ebonyi State to Deputy Governor, Governor, Senator, and now Minister of Works, saying each position has been marked by bold leadership, visionary reforms, and impactful infrastructure projects.

He further commended Umahi’s performance under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the minister has continued to redefine road construction and infrastructure delivery through strict adherence to engineering standards and quality execution of projects nationwide.

“History will remember you not only as a builder of roads and bridges but also as a builder of institutions, professionals, and men whose lives continue to impact generations,” he stated.

Ngwu prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments for the minister, while congratulating him on attaining the age of 63.
