The Secretary to the Women Mobilisation Directorate of the Presidential Campaign Council, Dr. Mary Idele has pledged to mobilise women across the country for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
Idele said the directorate would focus on strengthening women’s participation in the electoral process through grassroots engagement and mobilisation.
She said she would work with women leaders, stakeholders and party members across the country to coordinate mobilisation efforts ahead of the election.
Idele expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for the confidence reposed in her through the appointment, describing the assignment as a call to duty.
She said the task would require unity, dedication and engagement with women at the grassroots.
“Our goal is to mobilise Nigerian women for victory and to support the progressive and Renewed Hope Agenda. We will work collectively, strategically and tirelessly to ensure a decisive victory for Mr President in 2027,” she said.
