Catholic bishops, including Cardinal Okpalaeke, alongside other priests, have visited businessman Chief Sir Joseph Ebere Ezeokafor, popularly known as Jezco and father of socialite Jowizaza, at his residence in Ekwulobia, Anambra State, following his release from his abductors.
The clerics visited the businessman after he regained his freedom, with photos from the visit circulating on social media.
The visit has, however, sparked mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians questioning whether Catholic leaders extend similar gestures to people from less privileged backgrounds who experience similar situations.
