“Let’s Start A Door-To-Door Campaign For Peter Obi”- Isaac Fayose Declares Ahead Of 2027

- Isaac Fayose urges Nigerians to support Peter Obi for the 2027 presidential election.
- He emphasizes the importance of grassroots mobilization for political change.
- Fayose notes that the campaign season for the 2027 elections has already started.
Isaac Fayose, a Nigerian political commentator and younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has called on Nigerians to begin mobilising support for Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Fayose made the call while reacting to the growing political activities ahead of the next general election. According to him, the 2027 campaign season has effectively begun, and Nigerians who want a change in government should start working at the grassroots level.
He expressed optimism about the prospect of a new political direction, saying he was excited that Nigerians now had an opportunity to “take our country back.”
Fayose also revisited a previous statement attributed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu regarding electricity, arguing that Nigerians should hold the president accountable to his earlier promise.
He subsequently criticised the administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a failed government and urging Nigerians to consider an alternative ahead of 2027.
Turning his attention to Peter Obi, Fayose urged supporters to take the campaign beyond social media and begin engaging voters directly.
“2027 election campaign has officially kicked off. I’m happy because it’s time to take our country back. Recall that President Tinubu once told us that if he doesn’t provide electricity, we should not vote for him. APC is a failed government. Let’s start a door-to-door campaign for Mr Peter Obi. The (OK) ticket is all we want,” Fayose said.
Peter Obi, who contested the 2023 presidential election, remains a major figure among Nigerians seeking an alternative to the country’s two dominant political blocs. He has also been involved in opposition realignment ahead of the 2027 election.
Fayose’s latest comments are likely to generate reactions among supporters and critics of the APC and Obi as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 presidential contest.
