‘No Sensible Woman Will Ignore Genuine Love and Respect’ – Man Shares Marriage Advice
A Nigerian man, Endwell Michael, has sparked conversations on social media after sharing his views on what he believes is the foundation of a successful marriage.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, Michael said his primary goal when he married his wife was to build a happy home and ensure she never regretted choosing him as her life partner.
According to him, he intentionally makes an effort every day, week, month, and year to make his wife feel loved, respected, and appreciated.
“When I decided to marry my wife, my goal was simple: to build a beautiful family and make sure she never has a reason to regret marrying me,” he wrote.
“Every day, every week, every month, and every year, I intentionally find different ways to make her feel loved, valued, and respected. I always want to see her happy.”
Responding to those who might question whether such love would always be reciprocated, Michael insisted that a woman who is consistently treated with genuine love and respect would naturally return the same affection.
“My answer is simple: there is no sensible woman you will consistently treat with genuine love and respect who won’t treat you like a king unless she is a witch,” he added.
His comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with some people agreeing that mutual love and respect strengthen marriages, while others argued that healthy relationships require commitment and effort from both partners.
