Former tech executive and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma St. John wed Keely Watson in Ghana on Aug. 21, marking a fairytale ending to her second chance at love.

The newly minted Mr & Mrs. Watson were celebrated by over one hundred guests, according to PEOPLE, and the festivities spread out across multiple days. Both the bride and groom have roots in Ghana with St. John being born to Ghanian parents in the U.S. and spending part of her childhood there while Watson became a dual citizen of the African country in 2025.

As they both come from large families, St. John always knew that their wedding celebrations were going to be well-attended.

“Because first, you know, we both have very large families. In Ghana, especially, I have a lot of people there, and those are not small weddings,” she told PEOPLE.

She and Watson’s love story is one that has made many believe in the power of destiny as the RHOBH star previously experienced the devastating loss of her first husband, Peter St. John, in 2013. Her strength in the face of unthinkable grief made her a hero for other widows. She also documented herself adjusting to being a woman in a high power career and a single mother for the first time. Her relationship with Watson restored her belief in God’s timing.

“This engagement is my testimony: you can rise from grief, reclaim your joy, and still find a love worthy of your ‘yes,” she said. “Keely is proof that God’s timing is perfect — and so is His plan. I’m saying yes to life, to love and to the miracle of second chances.”

The well-traveled duo have been bringing luxury and brand deals along for their journey to the altar, racking up partnerships with Minted Weddings, Delta Airlines, Jetset Getaways and NBC. The pair also took off on a romantic pre-wedding trip—they lovingly called a “Fiancé Moon—to Belgium where they dined with a private chef and took in the city of Brussels.

They were also honored with a mural in their likeness courtesy of NBC Universal which many believe is a hint that their nuptials will be part of a special on Bravo. Audiences will, no doubt, be treated to a one-of-a-kind celebration if network cameras were granted access.

“I think maybe the underlying difference between a Western wedding and a Ghanaian wedding is that in a Western wedding, it’s two individuals saying vows, you know, being connected to each other, signing the paperwork, you know? Those are the two that everyone is sort of cheering on and focusing on,” she said. “In a Ghanaian wedding, the bride and groom don’t actually matter at all. It’s the families and the communities that are coming together.”

The Watsons will do it all again on Nov. 21 in Los Angeles when the second of their planned celebrations kicks off. And it seems that guests are in for a good time with lots of significance.

“A must-have for me is to make sure that people feel like we’re intentional. You know, not just in inviting people, but also in how they feel when they’re there,” Saint John shared. “You know, this isn’t necessarily a party for us. This is a party for our friends and family and to honor their impact on our relationship, you know? And so that for me is a must-have. I’m very intentional with how I want the guests to feel.”

Well now we completely understand why Rihanna was beating down the block about her wedding invitation. Have fun for us, RiRi!
