“The Only Mrs Yul Edochie I Know Is May” – Rita Edochie Challenges Judy Austin to Present Marriage Certificate After ₦1bn Lawsuit

Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has fired back at her in-law, Judy Austin, after reportedly being served with a ₦1 billion lawsuit, challenging her to present a marriage certificate proving that she is legally married to actor Yul Edochie.
Rita reacted after she said she received a message from someone addressing her as “Mrs Judith Yul Edochie.” She questioned the identity behind the name and said the only person she recognises as Mrs Yul Edochie is May Edochie.
“As a matter of fact, the only Mrs Yul Edochie that I know is Queen May Yul Edochie. Wanting to be addressed by that name is very provocative right now which I take as a terrible slap on the face of the Edochies,” Rita stated.
She then challenged Judy to present her marriage certificate if she insists on being addressed as Mrs Yul Edochie.
“Anyway, since you are insistent on being addressed that way, I would like you to present your marriage certificate highlighting the exact conformation of that weird name ‘Mrs Judith Yul Edochie’ only then will I give further response to this very message,” she wrote.
Rita’s reaction comes amid the ongoing dispute between members of the Edochie family and Judy Austin. The actress’ latest statement has now triggered another wave of reactions online, with some social media users backing her demand.
