Trump Aide Natalie Harp’s Estranged Brother Reveals The ‘Sad’ Real Reason She Is ‘Infatuated’ With The President

Natalie Harp’s estranged brother, Preston Harp, has come out to share his perspective on his sister’s relationship with the president of the United States, Donald Trump.

Appearing in an interview with journalist Erin Burnett, he addressed his sister’s “infatuation” with the president, revealing why she had an “unhealthy obsession” with the commander-in-chief.

Preston noted a lifelong pattern Natalie Harp has shown of writing to presidents and expressed hope that his sister will eventually outgrow her nationalistic upbringing and focus her energy towards unity for all.

Preston, in his appearance on the CNN interview with Burnett, dismissed his sister’s claim that Trump was her introduction to the world of politics, after the journalist played a clip for him showing Natalie stating the president was her “first exposure.”

According to The Daily Beast, the estranged brother attributed his sister’s politics to a worldview shaped by their devout Christian mother, built around the idea of American Exceptionalism.

Preston told the news outlet, “My mom raised us with the idea that American exceptionalism was the correct way of looking at things—that the United States is the boss of the world and that slavery was normal back then, so people weren’t bad because they had slaves.”

He believes his sister never broke out of the “delusion” they grew up with, calling Trump “everything my mom taught us to respect.”

Preston also added that his sister’s infatuation stems from the way their mother raised them, and absolutely not “physical attraction.”

Natalie’s public relationship with the president can be traced back to 2019 when she credited his administration’s policies on healthcare with saving her life. She claimed in a LinkedIn post, “The Party of Healthcare is Trump’s.”

As reported by The Guardian, the executive assistant explained her experience with bone cancer, saying that “a nurse mixed up my IV with the deadly substance of sterile water, leaving me housebound and searching for care.”

She claimed that her “Democrat-controlled” state, in place of diagnosing her properly, offered her opioids, disability, and “Death with Dignity.”

However, Trump’s signing of the 2018 Right to Try Act reportedly gave her access to experimental treatments that would save her life.

“My oncologist didn’t tell me I had other options; Donald Trump did … Now my numbers are stabilizing and so is my pain,” she shared.

Natalie later reiterated the sentiment about her cancer treatment at a Republican national convention, declaring to Trump, “I wouldn’t be alive today if it wasn’t for you.”

She worked as a presenter for One America News Network (OAN) before leaving in 2022, joining Trump’s camp, where she was nicknamed the “human printer.”

The nickname came about due to how she supplied the president with printed news articles and other relevant information using a portable printer she carried.

Natalie now officially serves as a special assistant to the president and is seen with him at almost every public outing.

The Aide’s Brother Calls Her Infatuation With Trump An ‘Unhealthy Obsession‘ After Learning Of Antics To Be Close To Him

In the CNN show, Burnett shared a “wild story” about Natalie jumping into the trunk of an SUV in order to be close to Trump when there wasn’t room for her inside his vehicle.

Upon hearing the story, Preston said he never knew of such an act, calling it “kind of sad,” and noting t obsession.

He said, “That’s an unhealthy obsession with someone if you’re going to jump into the trunk of their car.”

Natalie’s reported messages she sent to the president, including personal remarks such as “You’re all that matters to me,” and “I want to bring you joy,” were also brought up, and Preston revealed that his sister has a pattern of writing to presidents which predate Trump.

Preston said, “Basically, I’d say since she was about 16, she’s had an obsession with, gosh, how do I explain this? She’s written letters to other presidents, let me put it that way. And so, like, her dream came true finally.”

According to him, Natalie once wrote to President George Bush during the Iraq War as a teen but never got a response. He also said he didn’t see the alleged letter himself.
