Two Oyebo Women Top Social Media Trends As They Visit Ghanaian Beach With Mortar And Pestle To Pound Fufu

Two white women have attracted attention online after they were spotted at a beach attempting to prepare fufu, the popular Ghanaian dish, using a traditional mortar and pestle.

In the video, one of the women is seen operating the pestle while the other assists by turning the dough in the mortar, working together to recreate the meal.

Their attempt quickly drew a crowd, with several onlookers rushing over to take photos and videos of the moment.

Despite their enthusiasm, it was evident from the footage that the women were finding the process challenging, unsurprising given that fufu pounding is a skill typically developed over years of practice and isn’t part of their usual diet or culinary background.

The video has since circulated widely online, with many social media users expressing amusement and appreciation for the women’s willingness to engage with Ghanaian food culture.
