‘He Saw Me And Ran Away’-Sowore Recounts Encounter With Davido, Claims Police Invited Singer Over Alleged Lagos Murd£r

• Human rights activist and politician Omoyele Sowore has recounted an alleged encounter with singer Davido, claiming the musician avoided him during a police encounter.
• Sowore also alleged that Davido was later invited to lead an End SARS-related activity before police officers allegedly raised a Lagos m#rder matter with him.

Human rights activist and politician Omoyele Sowore has shared his account of an alleged encounter with Nigerian singer Davido, making fresh claims about the circumstances surrounding their reported disagreement.

Sowore alleged that he encountered Davido after the police had stopped the singer, claiming that Davido became intimidated and avoided him.

He said, “The police stopped Davido and he chickened out, I walked past him, he saw me and ran away.”

According to Sowore, Davido was invited by the police the following day to serve as the leader of an End SARS-related activity.

However, he claimed that the situation reportedly changed before Davido entered an elevator, alleging that police officers called the singer aside to discuss an alleged m#rder case linked to Lagos.

Sowore said, “A day after, the police invited him to come be the leader of end sars but before he got in the elevator, they called him aside and told him they’ll like to discuss the murd£r he committed in Lagos…”

His comments have nevertheless sparked reactions online, with some users questioning the allegation and others accusing him of continuing his dispute with the Adeleke family.
