A woman has shared a disturbing account of an alleged betrayal involving a new immigrant who was reportedly welcomed into her friend’s home in Canada.

According to the narrator, the woman moved to Canada as a single mother with her child. Her friend, in an attempt to help her settle into her new environment, reportedly offered them a place to stay temporarily.

However, while the friend was away working shifts, the guest allegedly began an intimate relationship with her host’s husband.

Expressing disbelief over the situation, the narrator said:

“How can somebody house you as a new immigrant, and you start sleeping with the person’s husband? This woman landed in Canada as a single mom, she came in with her child, and her friend decided to house her.”

The narrator claimed that the wife eventually discovered what was happening and asked her friend to leave the house before confronting her husband.

She alleged that the man apologised to his wife and was forgiven. However, rather than ending the relationship, he reportedly rented an apartment for the other woman and continued seeing her.

The narrator further claimed that the situation persisted even after the couple moved to London, with the man allegedly bringing the woman along and continuing their relationship.

According to the account, the wife eventually stopped confronting her husband and instead concentrated on raising their children, despite allegedly being aware that he continued spending nights with her former friend.

The situation reportedly took a dramatic turn when the man died overnight after allegedly spending the night at the other woman’s apartment.

The narrator claimed that following his death, both women maintained that they were no longer in a relationship with the deceased man. She said the alleged side chick acknowledged that he had a wife, while the wife reportedly maintained that they had separated, although the separation was not official.

“Side chick quickly raised her hands up that he has a wife oo. The wife also raised hers up that, no, they are separated. Even though it’s not official, they’re already living separate lives,” she added.

The narrator also alleged that the woman later approached her church in Nigeria to seek financial assistance following the man’s death.

Concluding her account, she warned that betrayal can sometimes come from people who are welcomed into our homes and trusted the most.
