Panic On Streets As Mad Man Pelts Stones At Passersby At Night, Forcing Pedestrians To Ran For Their Lives

Residents and passersby along a busy stretch of road have been thrown into panic recently after a man, reportedly struggling with a mental health condition, was filmed hurling stones at anyone who walked past him.

According to the bystander who captured the video, the man had positioned himself in front of a shop by the roadside and appeared to target virtually every pedestrian who came within his reach, throwing stones in an apparent attempt to hurt them.

What started as an unsettling scene quickly turned chaotic, as people who realised what was happening began running for safety to avoid being struck.

The bystander, visibly concerned while recording, can be seen keeping a cautious distance as the man continued his erratic behaviour, with shoppers and passersby scrambling out of his path.

The footage shows the tension along the street as people weighed the risk of walking past him against finding an alternative route.

The video has since drawn attention online, with many expressing concern not only for the safety of pedestrians in the area but also for the wellbeing of the man himself, with calls for social welfare or health authorities to step in and offer him the support he may need.

From the video, no victim appeared to have sustained any injury.
