Tension gripped members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kogi State Council, on Saturday after some of them narrowly escaped death in a road accident along the Kabba–Obajana Road.
Sources said the journalists were returning to Lokoja from an official assignment in Kogi West Senatorial District when an articulated truck reportedly rams in to the bus conveying them and landed them in nearby bush.
Although the circumstances surrounding the crash were still sketchy at the time of filing this report, the occupants of the bus were said to have survived the incident.
The extent of damage to the vehicle could not be immediately confirmed
but all the occupants of the bus are in good condition.
