  • He questions the necessity of annual major iPhone upgrades.
  • Suggests that Apple should consider extending the upgrade cycle for new models.

Ozonna Soludo, son of Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, has shared his opinion on Apple’s frequent release of new iPhone models following the introduction of the iPhone 18.

Ozonna took to social media to question whether Apple needs to release major iPhone upgrades every year, suggesting that the company should consider extending the upgrade cycle.

According to him, users could benefit more if Apple introduced significant upgrades every three years instead of launching a new model annually.

“Apple phones should make their upgrades every three years, not every year,” Ozonna said.
