Pastor Tobi Sparks Reactions After Leading Peller, Jarvis And Church Members On London Walk

  • Pastor Tobi Adegboyega led a procession of church members in London, drawing attention online.
  • The event took place shortly after a church service on September 6.
  • Participants included Nigerian content creators Peller and Jarvis, which contributed to mixed reactions.

A video showing Pastor Tobi Adegboyega leading a large group of suited church members through the streets of London has sparked mixed reactions online, particularly after Nigerian content creators Peller and Jarvis were spotted taking part in the procession.

The footage, which surfaced on X on September 6 shortly after a church service, showed several young men dressed in matching suits and ties walking together along a busy London street.

Peller and Jarvis were seen near the front of the group, interacting with people and gesturing as the procession made its way through the area.

The march appears to be part of a style of public procession previously associated with Pastor Tobi, often referred to as “mafia walks.” The organised walks have been presented as a way of encouraging discipline, unity, brotherhood and outreach among young Black men.

Pastor Tobi is the founder of the church formerly known as SPȦC Nation, which later adopted the name Nxtion Family, also referred to as The Nation Family Church.

Peller and Jarvis have maintained a noticeable connection with the pastor during their ongoing visit to the United Kingdom. The content creators have attended services at his church, appeared alongside him on stage and received luxury gifts from him during a livestreamed service.

Their participation in the latest street procession has since generated considerable discussion across social media.

While some users focused on the unusual nature of the march and questioned its purpose, others used the opportunity to revisit controversies surrounding Pastor Tobi and his former church.

His previous church was reportedly shut down by regulators following concerns involving financial irregularities and allegations of exploitation. The pastor has also previously faced immigration-related issues after overstaying his visa in the United Kingdom.

The latest video has therefore reignited conversations about Pastor Tobi, his public activities and his growing association with Nigerian social media personalities such as Peller and Jarvis.
