Rita Daniels, the mother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has addressed reports surrounding her daughter’s recent presence at the residence of her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.
The clarification came after actor and social media personality Uche Maduagwu shared a conversation he claimed to have had with Rita Daniels on Instagram on Monday, September 7, 2026.
According to Maduagwu, Regina Daniels’ mother contacted him to explain the reason her daughter was at Ned Nwoko’s residence, amid speculation that the estranged couple may have reconciled.
In a screenshot of their alleged conversation posted by Maduagwu, Rita Daniels explained that Regina had only gone to spend time with her children.
She wrote:
“She was invited to see her Children, that was what happened. Thanks a lot for your time and concerns.”
Maduagwu replied:
“Yes Ma, I’m always going to support my sister, Regina.”
While sharing the exchange with his followers, Maduagwu described the message as a clarification of what had actually happened. He also referred to Rita Daniels as “our beautiful and Legendary mummy” and expressed appreciation for her confidence in sharing the information with him.
The development comes against the backdrop of ongoing social media speculation about Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko’s relationship. Reports about a possible reconciliation between the couple have continued to generate reactions online.
Regina’s sister, Destiny Daniels, had also previously spoken amid the rumours, further fueling public interest in the situation.
For now, Rita Daniels’ account suggests that Regina’s visit was specifically to spend time with her children and should not necessarily be interpreted as confirmation of a reconciliation with Ned Nwoko.
