“I’m Not Your Mate” – VeryDarkMan Offers ₦10m Over Cynthia Morgan’s Music Earnings

  • VeryDarkMan has challenged anyone to verify whether Cynthia Morgan’s music catalogue generated hundreds of thousands of dollars, offering ₦10 million to whoever can establish the claim.
  • The activist also defended his history of controversial opinions, recalling the backlash he received during the 2023 Mohbad controversy and insisting that his position had remained unchanged.

Social media activist VeryDarkMan has offered a ₦10 million reward to anyone who can verify that Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan’s music catalogue generated hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Reacting to criticism he received over his views on the singer’s career and music earnings, VeryDarkMan recalled the backlash he faced during the controversy surrounding the late singer Mohbad in 2023.

He said his position at the time remained unchanged despite the criticism, while asserting his influence on social media in Nigeria.

“Through out yesterday I saw a lot of people insulting me. I remember 2023 during the time of Mohbad when I had my opinion and everyone called me evil. Till today my opinion still stands but yours never stood. I’m not your mate. I’m the conscience of social media in Nigeria. I am going to put ₦10 million for anyone that can check if Cynthia Morgan’s catalog made hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

The challenge comes amid renewed discussions about Cynthia Morgan’s music career, catalogue and the financial returns generated from her previous works.

VeryDarkMan’s statement has since sparked further debate online, with attention now focused on whether available streaming, publishing and royalty records can substantiate the earnings claim he referenced.
