The 46-year-old entertainer virtually entered a guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of ‘driving less safe.’ Haddish successfully managed to avoid any additional jail time under the negotiated agreement.
The final judicial order placed the “Girls Trip” star on probation for one year and suspended her driving privileges. The court mandated that she perform 40 hours of community service and complete a formal driving safety course. She must also completely abstain from drugs and alcohol while checking in with probation officers by telephone.
The legal situation originally started during the early morning hours of January 14, 2022, in Peachtree City. Local police stopped her vehicle after receiving reports that a driver had fallen asleep behind the wheel. Officers ultimately arrested the star after she pulled her car directly into the front yard of a local residence, as reported by The Blast.
